📌 관련 규정
- 「고려대학교 학칙」 제35조 제2항 제1호(이중전공), 「학사운영규정」 제6장 제2절 제1관(이중전공)
📌 지원자격
1) 제1전공이 배정된 학생
2) 3학기 이상 등록자(편입생은 2학기 이상 등록자)
3) 2026학년도 제1학기 현재 재학생
- 당해 학기 재학생 재학 보유기간 : 3/1 ~ 7/31
- 휴학학기는 신청 불가하며, 합격 후 이중전공 진입학기(2026-2) 휴학 가능
- 이중전공 신청 후 해당 학기에 학기 중 휴학을 했을 경우에는 불합격(포기처리) 처리됨
(합격 발표 후에 휴학(학기 중 휴학)하였을 경우에도 불합격 및 포기 처리됨)
- 당해 학기(계절 포함) 본교 국제교류 프로그램 참여 및 참여 예정 학생(ex) 외국대학 교환학생, KU-
GLP, 인턴십 등)은 지원 불가
※ KU-GLP의 경우 프로그램 학점인정 신청을 하지 않는 경우에 한하여 이중전공 신청 가능
4) 이중, 융합, 학생설계전공 기합격자는 지원 불가
- 제2전공(이중, 융합, 학생설계) 기합격자 및 공학인증 신청자가 재지원하려는 경우, 반드시 2026.05.11.
(월)까지 포기신청을 해야 함
- 제2전공(이중, 융합, 학생설계) 합격 후 포기하고 재지원할 경우, 1회에 한하며, 재지원하며 불합격하는
경우, 심화 전공을 이수해야 함
📌 신청 방법
1) 신청 메뉴 : 포털(KUPID) - [학적/졸업] - [학적사항] - [이중전공신청]
- 지원대학(부), 학과(부) 선택 및 학업계획서 작성
- [임시저장] 버튼 클릭 - 지원사항 확인 및 [최종제출] 버튼 클릭
※ [임시저장] 버튼 클릭 후, [최종제출]을 클릭해야 이중전공 신청이 완료됨. [임시저장] 버튼만 클릭하고
[최종버튼]을 클릭하지 않으면 신청기간 종료 후 자동 취소 처리됨
2) 학업계획서는 지원 학과의 전형에서 요구하는 경우만 작성함
- 학업계획서 문항 : 지원동기/관심분야 또는 과목/학업계획/기타 (항목별 1,000자 이내)
3) 디자인조형학부에 지원하는 경우, 학업계획서 작성 시 지원전공(디자인/조형)을 반드시 명시하여 작성
📌 전형 방법
1) 성적, 면접, 학업계획서 등 해당 학과(부)의 평가기준에 따름 (첨부 자료 참고)
2) 평가는 직전 학기까지 수강신청한 모든 과목(F 포함)의 총 평점평균을 반영함
📌 신청 기간
1) 신청기간 : 2026.05.13.(수) 10:00 ~ 05.15.(금) 17:00
2) 포털 접수 시 전산 오류가 발생할 수 있으므로 마감 1~2시간 전까지 신청을 완료해야 하며, 마감시간 이후
접수는 절대 불가하며, 전산 오류로 인한 사유는 인정하지 않음
📌 합격 발표
1) 일시 : 2026.06.30.(화) 17시 예정
2) 포털(KUPID) - 게시판 - 공지사항 - 학사일정에 발표 예정
📌 유의사항
1) 04학번부터는 제2전공 의무화에 따라 제1전공의 심화전공, 혹은 제2전공인 이중전공, 융합전공, 학생설계
전공 중 하나를 반드시 이수해야 함(단, 학사편입자의 제2전공 이수는 선택사항임)
2) 제1전공의 심화전공은 기존의 단일전공제와 동일함
3) 신청 학기의 다음 학기부터 이중전공에 진입하게 됨
4) 지원 불가능 학과
- 의과대학, 간호대학, 약학대학, 계약학과(사이버국방학과, 반도체공학과, 차세대통신학과, 스마트모빌리티
학부)
- 폐지된 학과(2026학년도 1학기 현재)
- 유사학과 간 이중전공은 불가
- 2025년도에 신설된 학과(인공지능학과, 글로벌엔터테인먼트학부)는 2027학년도 1학기 전형(2026학년도
2학기)부터 학생 모집을 시작할 예정임
5) 일부 학과(부)는 학업계획서를 제출해야 하므로 첨부파일 '2026학년도 제2학기 이중전공 전형 안내'의
내용을 반드시 확인 후, 해당되는 경우, 학업계획서를 작성하여 제출(각 항목당 1,000자 이내)해야 함
6) 지원 전에 이중전공 전형 안내(첨부파일)의 세부 사항을 반드시 확인해야 함
7) 이중전공 지원학과(부)의 정원, 이수학점은 해당 대학(부) 행정실로 문의해야 함
<2026-2 Double Major Application Guidelines>
📌 Relevant Regulations
- Article 35, Section 2, Subsection 1 of the 「Korea University Regulations」(Double Major), Chapter 6, Section 2, Article 1 of the 「Academic Affairs Regulations」 (Double Major)
📌 Eligibility
1) Students whose first major has been officially designated
2) Students registered for 3 semesters or more (transfer students registered for 2 semesters or more)
3) Students currently enrolled in the first semester of the 2026 academic year
- The required enrollment period for students in the current semester is from March 1 to July 31.
- Students on a leave of absence may not apply, however, a leave of absence is permitted starting from the entry semester (2026-2) following acceptance.
- 이Applicants who take a leave of absence during the application semester(including leave taken during the semester or after announcement of results) will be disqualified or have their admission forfeited.
- Students currently participating or planning to participate in any international programs during the current semester(including summer/winter session) are ineligible(ex) Exchange Student, KU-GLP, Internship, etc.)
※ KU-GLP participants who do not request credit approval are eligible to apply.
4) Students already accepted into a second major (Double, Interdisciplinary, or Students-Designed) are ineligible
- Students currently in a second major or an engineering certification program who wish to re-apply must complete the withdrawal procedure my Monday, May 11, 2026.
- Re-applcation to another second major is permitted only once. If unsuccessful, the student must pursue an intensive major2.
📌 Application Method
1) Applcation menu : Portal(KUPID) - [Registration/Graduation] - [University Registration] - [Application for Secondary Majors]
- Select the target college(department), major(division) and complete the study plan.
- Click the [Save] button to confirm details, then click [Complete the Application] to finish
※ The application is only finalized upon clicking [Complete the Application]. Failure to do so after only saving will result in automatic cancellation after deadline.
2) A study plan should be completed only if required by the screening process of the applied department
- Study plan sections : Motivation for application/Fields or courses of interest/Academic plan/Other (Maximum 1,000 characters per section).
3) Applicants for the Division of Art and Design must explicitly state their intended major (Design/Art) within the study plan.
📌 Selection Process
1) Candidates are evaluated based on the criteria of each department, including grades, interviews, and study plans (refer to the attached guidelines).
2) Evaluations reflect the overall GPA of all registered courses up to the previous semester (including F grades).
📌 Application Period
1) Period : Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 10:00 - Friday, May 15, 2026, 17:00
2) To avoid potential technical errors, applications should be completed 1-2 hours before the deadline. no late submissions will be accepted, and technical issues will not be considered valid reasons.
📌 Announcement of Results
1) Date : Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 17:00 (Expected)
2) Results will be posted on the KU Portal(KUPID) - Bulletin - Notice - Academic Calendar
📌 Important Notes
1) Under the mandatory policy for students admitted in or after the 2004 academic year, students must complete on of the following: an intensive course of the first major, a double major, an interdisciplinary major, or a student-designed major (Optional for academic transfer students).
2) The intensive course of the first major is equivalent to the existing single major system.
3) Double major status begins in the semester following the application.
4) Restricted Departments
- School of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and Industry-Academia Partnership Department (Cyber Defense, Semiconductor Engineering, Communications Engineering, Smart Mobility).
- Discontinued departments (as of the 2026-1 semester)
- Double majors between similar departments are prohibited
- Departments established in 2025 (Artificial Intelligence, Global Entertainment) will begin recruitment for the 2027-1 selection cycle (starting in the second semester of 2026).
5) Some departments require a study plan. Please review the attached guidelines and ensure each section does not exceed 1,000 characters if applicable.
6) Detailed requirements in the attached guidelines must be verified before applying.
7) For inquiries regarding student quotas and credit requirements, please contact the administrative office of the relevant department or college.
